Stitches of Love

What is Stitches of Love?

Those at Huron River Methodist who enjoy knitting, crocheting and/or sewing are making hats, mittens, scarves, sweaters and small blankets to send to needy children in cities of the United States and to children in Third World countries.

Patterns are provided, and yarn is donated, though individuals may, if they wish, provide their own yarn for their own projects.

All who enjoy these crafts are invited to attend.

Why we coordinate this

The people who are involved in Stitches of Love enjoy the fellowship with each other; they love helping children and providing new items of clothing to the children and enjoy their craft and how it helps others. They are also proud to represent Huron River Methodist Church through this mission.

What you need to know

Stitches of Love meets on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month from 10:30 AM - Noon. The group begins meeting in April and continues into the month of November.
